Xantia boot lock - how to access?

Post by Napoleon »

Can anyone help with this, please?

One of the bolts holding the boot lock in place has come adrift, and is now missing. The other bolt is slowly undoing itself.

This much I can tell from looking, but I cannot remove the plastic trim that covers this entire section of the boot lid to either gauge what size bolt I need to buy. The reason I cannot remove the trim is because the screws are those * star type ones and I haven't a clue where to get one.

Any ideas?

Any motor factor will have them, as will most DIY places.

There is a fair choice on eBay too.

Hmph. Got my little set today... it's nowhere large enough, the T15. The ones on the boot look twice the size. Is this possible to get Torx to fit that?
