Xsara HDI Any Good?

Unread post by nickmurphy »

looking for a bit of advice really, i've been offered a Y reg citroen xsara estate, it's done 90000 miles and has plenty of tax and test, condition is good, my mates brother is wanting £750 for it, is it a good price or are the 2.0hdi's a bit undesirable? btw it's not a picasso
thanks in advance

Nothing wrong with the 2.0 Hdi engine. Or a Xsara. Just make sure its been cared for - no French motors enjoy neglect. Can't go wrong for £750 if it's a straight car.

Im sure that the HDIs only light their glow plugs in very nippy weather.

that's great thanks, might get my missus into this one, the only reason i've left bx's and xantias behind is she won't get into the pumpey up and down ones!
