C3 Diesel Fuel Filter

Post by brian.p@blueyonder.co.uk »

Could anyone tell me where to find he diesel fuel filter on a C3?
I've looked everywhere and cannot find it which is frustrating as I'm told I should drain it of any water.
Any help gratefully received.

if your looking under the bonnet its to the right hand rear side of the engine with some pipes going into it, doesent really look much like a fuel filter, its encased in black plastic & has to be changed as a whole unit, the element doesent come out.

Well thank you 'Wheeler'
I looked everywhere for it but am comforted by the faxt that you say it doesn't look much like a filter. It sounds as if its a sealed unit yet my service handbook advises it to be drained of water. Is this possible?
I've done it any many other diesels as they have a screwed plug at the bottom of the filter.
Thanks again.

Many thanks Wheeler,
I'll give it a go.
Sounds very expensive when it comes to replacement!
