Hi everyone, I am new here and have a problem that I am trying to solve on my father's 807.
He hasn't been using it regularly, so the battery went flat. He has recharged it and it now runs fine, but there is a problem with the alarm/locking. It basically locks then unlocks immediately, the alarm goes off intermittently and the dashboard display randomly pops up with a "boot open" message and chime whilst driving.
Presumably a boot lid sensor or wiring is the likely culprit? If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

It's possible all these are connected.
I've had the boot open warning while driving. It was caused by the rear washer hose coming adrift and leaking into the inside of the rear (hatch) door and the lock electrics.
The central locking unlocking it's self suggests the system thinks one of the doors is open (possibly the boot).
The alarm problem could also be connected. Or it could be the contacts on the sliding rear doors, they get a bit dirty and cause the alarm to trigger while the car is parked up.

Thanks Homer
I'll check out the washer hose, that's a good thought, could have split or popped off with the cold weather recently.
