306 2001 hdi hatchback gears sticking
Their is a noise which sounds like somthings rubbing when coming out of fist gear, also the gearchange from from 1st to 2nd isnt smooth, can someone help. also what is the recommended gearbox oil.

just posting back as i have resolved this issue, the problem got worse with the recent cold weather, anyhow decide to have a look, and it appears that the gear selecter rod has a ball joint which sits directly beneath the engine, this way dry as a bone, iv re-greased it and my gear change couldnt be any better.
