Coolant for Citroen Hdi
A friend of mine in the Motor Trade (in the U.K) tells me that a lot of Citroen owners use Mercedes Branded coolant in their cars. He advises me that this brand contains superior rust inhibitors. Has any members of the forum heard this, or used this brand. (He has no connection to the brand)
Merc branded coolant may well be better than standard type , but you will pay for the Merc name. The thing to look for is low or non silicate content coolant. I use Honda coolant , very high quality and almost certainly cheaper than Merc , I believe Toyota have a similar product.

There used to be a sticky about anti-freeze. Not sure why it isn't one any more.

As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.
