Citroen DS High Rider

Post by BLeyland »

Citroen has released official images and info on it's next car in the new DS line (as in Different Spirit, not Déesse)
It's called the DS High Rider. The design does take some cues from the DS3, but this is a much sleeker car. Unlike the DS3, the High Rider has no b-pillar, the fenders are more flared, and the roof has a steeper rake. Citroen refers to this concept as an untraditional four-seater coupe. Instead of being low and long, Citroen sees the design as "compact and muscular" -- possibly why it's called "High Rider".

Hadn't seen this info before mind so I didn't mind the interesting link.
It's about a Citroen rather than other things it could've linked to.

Interesting link.

On another note ... Has anyone seen the proposed Peugeot 508?

http://news.drive.com.au/drive/future-c ... -n3jq.html

It will replace the 407 and the 607 - so will be sized in the middle of them both and is roumered to have hydropneumatic suspension on the range toppers. Though this is not mentioned in the link, there is a small section in a previous autoexpress which states this.

There are no official pictures yet and it will be a year or so before production starts. Though its going to be a very large car, which i think will put amny people off.

My local dealer has one of these out the front of their dealership on the main road.

Doesn't look half bad tbh...

Isnt it a 5008, a car come slightly higher SUV kind of shape, the MD of our local dealer has one now instead of the C6 he did have. My guess is he drives each of the newest models each time..

I made a specific look to see what it was and saw 5008, like the 1007 and the 4x4 they have aswell, is a 00 model, cant remember the model number...

Peugot do really make some truely pointless cars, that 1007 was hideous and i rarely see one, do they still make it? The 3008 is almost as awful, cant say ive seen a 5008 yet.

The 508 is will replace the 407 & 607 in about a year or so, its still under going development. I like both the 407 and 607, i hope the 508 is a good looking car.

Here: Pug 5008

Yes Yes, looks like a 308 and 208 estate, but looks like peugeot is moving to 00 in the names after almost exhausting all the single 0 numbers..

Oh right, its not too bad, better looking than the 3008. Almost resembles the C4 Picasso in some views.
