Love that colour, really suits the XM..

Those wheels are a

to keep clean you'll find. Same style as on the MK1 V6 Xantia and they are a right pain.

Tyre places just love balancing them too

..Its funny, ive heard that a bit after people first take a ride in a hydraulic car....there are so many put downs and scare stories out there about hydraulic Citroens...all from poeple who have never owned one...

I gave the guy across the road a ride in mine to the betting shop when it was snowy....he has a C class Mercedes.....and commented...."Its not bad this car is it Vince....very comfy

I didnt have the heart to tell him we sell more parts for C class Mercs than we do for Citroens...and that his cost him thousands and mine less than grand

Looks a similar colour to my Activa though a lot cleaner

Thanks for the comments. Actually I have a long history of BX's (with a GS thrown in for good measure) so as for whether I'd like an XM had more to do with the gadgetry and size than with the suspension

However, I do like to snick it into Sport mode - a bit more BX-like!

As for the colour - it's amazing. It seems to shift from green to blue depending on light and angle. Love it. Funnily it's the comment I receive most about it.

And my sister-in-law's got a Pug 206 Roland Garros in what appears to be pretty much the same colour. She'll offer me the Pug in time as she really wants a Merc coupé.

More fool her lol!

Excellent pictures of a truly stunning looking car, few cars look as nice as a good Xm hatchback in my opinion. Yours looks totally unmarked, even the bumpers look untouched - rare for an XM!

Saying that, did anyone see the maroon Xm estate on autotrader recently? It had little markers on the front corners so the driver could find the ends.

Its a lovely colour, i agree, we have a VW in a very similar colour, in some lights its green, others its blue. Lovely.

Its hard not to like an Xm really, they have something about them, really get contagious, you might never be without one now!
