C5 Auto Gear Shift

Hi all,

Just become owner of C5 diesel auto but the gear shift has chrome trim peeling away and cuts heel of hand when using!

Either need to replace or buy a cover for it preferably leather.

If change, How? and is it a dealer purchase?

Cover - any suggestions (not gaffer tape, already using that! lol) or sites for a suitable purchase?

Dealer only I would have thought Jake but you may be able to use the gently curved one from a Xantia-type shifter if you want to try a scrappy and don't mind loosing the chrome.

Howe to get them off is not obvious. The trick is to grasp them very firmly and pull very sharply upwards....
