BX Tyres

At the moment I have a BX with 165-70-14 tyres on
Is there any other size I can fit for example 175-70-14.

175-70 would be ok.

Citroen preferred 175/65 14's. Thre DTR Turbo was originally fitter with 165 x 14 and (possibly after comments in a road test of small tyres and lack of grip they were suddenly fitted with 175 / 65 x 14.
I expect the rolling radius of these is much the same as 165 x 14 which will give the same speedo reading and performance.

I've run these for a while now - no problems at all and less tendency to tyre-squeal on certain surfaces. However, if your rear arm bearings are really badly worn, you'll find out sooner when the wider tyre stars to rub against the wheelarch (not a bad thing).
Wish the actual 175-50-14s I fitted were better tyres, though...
