I can only imagine how a DS must have looked in the 50s compared to the other cars of the time. Still looks stunning!

Why not? VW brought back the Beetle, BMW revived the Mini, even Fiat have got into the act with something or other. All iconic cars. Maybe Citroen should consider an updated DS

You have to admit though, the revived classics kinda miss the point of the original car a little bit.

It's been Webastodised! Ah well, I suppose it's a period modification.

Replication is a funny thing; you can buy near-perfect copies of musical implement amplifiers that will electrocute the unwary, yet a car is out-of-bounds. Such a shame!

Perhaps one day something like Dynacorn will spring up to offer Dee bodies...

Problem is, that car manufacturers cant be faithful to the original design concept.

They always seem to try make it better on the design too.

A reborn chassis with all the hidden structures we now know is good for safety would still allow the wellknown design look.
Same goes on the interior.
A rework could vey well hide all the pyro effects we need these days.

And still have the very characteristic one-spoke steering wheel popping out the dash.

Take a Xantia and squeese it to a true look-alike 8)

Thicker pilars, stronger structure, crumple zones, airbags, anti-submarine seats/airbags, seatbelt pretensioners etc etc
