Big thanks to all!!

I just wnted to say thanks to all of the people that tried to help in the situation of the non existant gear box cables for my citoen c5. I have been in touch with citroen who have now ordered me a peugout subsitute part for my car which will be fitted next week.
Needless to say I am ecstatically happy as all of the people at the bust stop saw yesterday when citroen rang to tell me. Thankyou

More seriously, I'm glad there's a resolution underway. It sounded insane, the whole aspect of a newish car being immobilised by lack of basic parts.

hi, yes it does sound rather insane but I can only come to the conclusion that the rumour I heard was true and that the maker and supplier of this one particular cable had gone bust or citroen would of found a citroen part and not peugeout. Im just so pleased that its been sorted. I have to say though I have had so much trouble with this car that it will be my first and last citroen. Thanks again to all who tried to help
