Immobiliser wont accept new fuel pump?
i have a peugeot 306 td with a key pad immobiliser, i broke down so i got towed back to my garage, slacked off an injector line - no feul being pumped. its possible that the stop solenoid was nakered but it is sheilded. iv have got a replacment pump (locus) the same as origenal. but the immobiliser will not accept it. with the new pump wired up the immobiliser shows green and red and makes all sorts of nagative noises. then i tried pluggin the old pump back in and it goes back to normal?? can anyone help? many thanks to anyone who can . Ellis

When you replaced your fuel pump you should also have got the code for the immobiliser.
The code is stored in the pump ecu/electronics i believe and definitely not the keypad which is just a device to enable you to tell the immobiliser the correct code.
When you swap it back for your old pump the code you put in is recognised by your pump as being correct.
I understand there is a way of dearmouring and bypassing the immobiliser but short of doing that or finding the correct code i cant help

why did you swop pumps before trying to disable the imobaliser,
as Colin has said the code is held in the imobaliser under the armour on the back of the pump,
i dont know now you have gone this route if it is possible to reproghram the imobaliser with a LEXIA,
otherwise you either need to remove the armour/imobaliser from the replacement pump in situe, so you can bypass the electronics, or try to get the code form the imobaliser you have fitted,
were abouts are you, as some of us do own LEXIA's

I don't think you can do the diesel immobilisers (keypad models only) with a Lexia, when these were new (about 10 years ago) we used to have to send the pump off to a specialist to have a new unit fitted (they would take the amour off, fit the new unit which had a default of 1111, refit the amour and send it back)
With the later (97 onwards typically) transponder units you can easily program a new key as far as I know.
If it was mine, I'd just de-amour the pump and be done with it.

Why not swap over you originaL Immob onto new pump.
The body armour is NOT that hard to remove.
