Can you be an auto hyperchondriac?

Reading books on health can bring on thoughts that you might have all sorts of things wrong with you.
Reading this forum has made me look into all sorts of potential problems that my Xantia might have.
Am I normal?

{I must add that all joking apart, this forum is excellent and has proved itself very useful to me on many occasions}.

Occasionally I hear a new noise and for a moment, think "Could it be..." (insert name of problem discussed and resolved on FCF) - then I decide it's nothing, and I shall carry on.

Some weeks later, it often turns out that FCF was right.

Many years ago I used to be like that, but now I just get in and drive, if it goes OK I don't worry. It must be seven or eight years and 100,000 + miles since I last actually had a breakdown (the car that is) you would be lucky to do that with a modern car!

Im a bit like that at times, i never think its going to break down but when i hear a noise or something seems to be not quite right then i do get thinking. Though ive not really had any problems with my cars yet, so i think i just worry too much
