Xantia auxillary heater ?

Xantia auxillary heater ?

Can any tell me which and where the relay is that controls the auxillary low temperature heater on a Xantia 2 please ?
Now using '00 Xantia LX HDI, pov spec :(
My past Citroens :-
'00 Xantia SX HDI, now dead due to accident :(
'99 Xantia HDI 110 Exclusive, RIP :(
'97 Xantia TD SX
'96 Xantia TD LX
'96 ZX TD
'89 BX TD
'88 AX GT
'79 CX2400 Pallas (scrapped :( )
& a couple of Peugeots !

Cheers for that. That layout is different to mine. On mine the pink headlamp washer relay is where the left hand green relay is and the two green ones are side by side on the right. So , in that case would it be the green one in the between the pink and other green one ?
Now using '00 Xantia LX HDI, pov spec :(

No idea.

The relevant relay will have wires numbered 8098, 8098B/8098C, 1706, CO2N, CO2S.

an auxiliary heater? never seen on of them myself, so good question rmunns

As HDi's are so fuel efficient they take an absolute age to warm up so to make that happen quicker at this time of year Citroën fitted a diesel burning heater just behind the N/S headlight in the inner wing, this is a photo of the one fitted to my car when I removed it to replace the glow plug within. They operate by being plumbed into the cooling circuit, or should that be warming :lol:

wow, cool, i didn't even have any idea the hdi was so efficient that it needed an extra heater

well i learn something new everyday, thanks richard

I've been wondering about using one of these plumbed into a couple of radiators as a garage or shed heater running on waste engine oil ??!!
