driving without the hydractive ecu?

Unread post by deian »

Just quickly,

Is it ok to drive without the hydractive ecu attached to the car? it's faulty and stuck in hard mode anyway, so does it matter?

thanks

That'll be fine Dei... It only looks after the Hydractive valves so not being there at all will make no difference...

Pop a set of non Hydractive spheres on for now, for a bit of comfort...

I can live with it for now, i am planning to repair the ecu over my xmas holidays anyway and fly it over to richard for a memory clear.

Besides i'd have to buy 4 non hydractive spheres anyway wouldn't I, i'd rather buy 4 spheres, two centre (if needed), anti-sink and accumulator than buy the 4 strut ones for the time being, but i get the idea... doing that would make me lazy to fix the root problem, the h4 ecu fault (as well as the ev diodes).

Thanks for the answer and the suggestion. Much appreciated.
