Chrome trim

Post by daveh31 »

The plastic 'chrome' on my 2000 406 (the trim that clips into the black door mouldings and colour coded bumpers) is looking rather tatty, its taken on a mottled appearance in large areas. Can anyone recommend a suitable replacement, I'm assuming you can buy this stuff on reels and cut it to length to suit.
TIA

There's a gentleman called Brian Primmer who does stainless steel inserts to overcome exactly this problem on Citroens Dave.

I don't know if the same strips will fit a 406 but it may be worth getting in touch with him and asking. He may be able to make you a custom set.

He can be contacted at brian.primmer(at)btinternet.com
