Xantia hydractive suspension button

Post by trooper30 »

At the risk of sounding stupid could someone explain to me in simple terms what exactly the hydractive suspension does? Once i press the button and turn it on the car sits up a little the suspension gets a little harder, but whats its purpose? What exactly is the benefit of this feature?

The button just makes the suspension react quicker.

When you go round corners and the suspension goes stiffer, it's isolating the two hydractive center spheres (one front, one back) leaving only the stiffer corner spheres active.
