lack of power but no warning light

Post by hdirob »

Hi all

starting to get occassional bit of problem when on motorway and put foot down to overtake or get bit of extra speed the engine seems to be very flat for a while then you feel it kick in a set of like everything is fine.

doesn,t do it every time about 1 in 10 at a guess ..... seems to be if i rev over 3500 and then change gear it is very slow to pick up again .

no warning lights show at all and doesn,t seem to be different on long run or short run

any ideas

Rob

Hi Rob

What car is it? turbo? and are all the filters and sparkplugs good? it does sound like fuel starvation (blocked fuel filter)

D
XM Prestige PRV6 92
Talbot Express Autotrail Chinook 89
Mitsubishi L200 Trojan 14
Xantia Activa 95, sold (missed)

Service Citroen is awesome, it shows me pictures of all the parts i used to be able to buy............
