Not bad price then. Aint been around C5s but heard that is decent model.

Have a look at cam belt. It should still have writing`n all on it if it has been changed but still no gaurantee. Check the aux belt for signs of wear as that could be original. Might end up with one of these yet myself :)

So, You live in Bridport. :D

Thats where I was born, lived in Allington (at the foot of Allington hill) with my parents untill the age of 19, then moved to West Bay, untill such times as my move to sunny East Anglia.

I still get to Bridport when I can, to visit family.

The C5 should do you well, just take time and sort the gremlins, I too would want to see an invoice to prove the belt change, otherwise I would be doing it again, just for my own piece of mind.

Regards.
Martin.

Trustin Close, at the bottem of Cherry Tree.

Mum and Dad still live there and my sister lives in town.

But now I no longer have hills at my back garden, I do like it here in Cambridgeshire, but I do miss the hills, it's all flat here.

Regards.
Martin.

Rear Door lock a COMMON problem, and you CAN access it from inside the car with the door shout, it IS possible to remove the rear door trim with the door shut..

Its a problem with the child lock which jams the unlockinh mechanisem in lock EVEN though you can hear the unlock solinoid in the lock when you unlock the car.. You can undo the child lock from isde the door if your hands are bendy enough to get at it..
