Hi..
My Sent box and save box are both 100% full!
Is there a way on FCF to SAVE al messages to the desktop? Or do I have to delete and forget them forever?
I like to keep a copy of most if not all sent messages..
Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,
Sadly, there is no easy way as the messages are held in the database in exactly the same format as normal posts. I have in the past increased the maximum amount of messages you can keep but the limit is now near maximum. In fact I have just upped it to 75 messages if that will help.
If you have really critical ones, I could maybe devise an SQL script to extract them and store them as text files.
In my past forays into PM recovery for (accidentally) deleted accounts I have found it to be quite a difficult task as they are deliberately stored in such a way as to make it hard to get at them for security reasons.
When they say PMs are private, they really are as even admins can't see them unless you go on a deep database hack and that's an arcane skill all to itself
