HP pump Cover
Did any Xantias have a cover over the HP pump pulley/aux belt?

I'm sure the bracket just visible at the back of the pump is for one, but it's not been there as long as I've had it (nearly a year now!). Certainly concentrates the mind with the bonnet up and engine running.

Mine's got one but they're usually discarded as they are easily broken, being secured at one end only.
Else that, an aux belt goes, smashes it and is never replaced or just never replaced after a belt change.

Anyone know the part number? Would prefer to have it, the amount of times i am under the bonnet listening for noises!

was about to say the one i have certainly has one and even then i am wary about having my ear close to it
they are super flimsy though and i've seen one on an old td i had, didnt have ac though, and the AC cars have a different HP bracket IIRC if you look on part net.
Aircon ones are Sauf Refri and ones without are refri as i think the pictures are messed a little as mine has no ac and is the upper option

Woooo! I've checked three of mine and they all have a cover - too subtle for me to notice before!
I've even managed to take a piccy for reference 8)
- the grubby engine bay pictured is the FCSH car I've just got and I haven't
had any opportunity to do any spannering here myself yet!
Any ideas what that tall torx headed bolt behind is standing so tall for
- it's tight and nothing else looks awry.
