Worth a punt? busted 2003 DCi low comp on 2+3 cylinders.

Late 2003 Laguna 120 bhp. Low compression on 2 and 3 pots. Belt is OK and no loss of coolant. Can it be a 'simple' head shave and new gasket? I have an opportunity to buy this car. 130k.
Any help or advice appreciated.

hi, i would say it all depends on your mechanical ability whether or not it is an easy fix, firstly i have a similar problem with my megane 0 comp on no4 cyl and 230 on no2, i'm on the lines of thinking that the laguna that you are talking about could possibly have slightly bent valves or partially melted valves in the aspect of not seating correctly, so really i would advise if you are not a technician yourself dont buy it, you could be opening a can of worms, unless of course it is so cheap that it would be a crime not to, rob
