ZX rear seats!!!!

After many years of the rear seats of our ZX saloon/hatchback resting in the same place, I would like to move them to make a little more space in the boot to carry some stuff.

Problem: I cannot remember what you are supposed to do with the bit of bent metal that comes out of the seat swab. I have tried pulling, pushing, twisting and lifting. All to no avail.

All I can remember is that this lever is supposed to release the seat mechanism so the swab will slide forward.

HELP!!!!

You just lift up the handle (bit of bent metal) & the seats should slide forward.

you gotta pull the lever up and move the seat at the same time, if it's not been done for a while give it some elbow grease :wink:
