A GREAT BUNCH!

Post by citroenxm »

Hi..

Firstly, it was GREAT to have met fellow forum members, its good to put faces to names.. Jim and Steve, a great pleasure to have met you both, plus the other Xantia gang, Xac, Sid_the_squid, and the 3 lad who had an LHM leak, forgot who you were - hop you got sorted.

Sid, that V6 of yours was pretty stunning, very impressed with her condition, Jim andXac, Ill get, next time I do a Matrix, the heater seperation tip for you to see, which makes getting the heter forward much easyer, although, you'll probably beat me to it now, as my next project, the Black XM 2.oi turbo LPG is up for working on so I can get her sold...

I will surely make more efforts to come to future meets..

Regards
Paul

It was good to meet you too Paul, Glad you liked the Green Goblin :D
I'm trying to keep her nice, keeping paint work good is a constant battle, which I don't really donate enough time to.
Its a shame I had to dash after the convoy drive, would have been nice to hand around and chat some more.

This XM turbo your working on next would that be an auto? Id be tempted by a black XM auto.

I liked yur Xantia for its overall condition and tidyness, Im not a fan of the green shes in though.. Like mine, the Maritious Blue ah la Jim's is my colour.. or black..

Yes Jim, its an Auto, Ive a first refusal to make with a fellow XM Fourm member, but if he turns her down she will be available.

Black, not the tidyest of body's, as in scratches and a couple of dents, but a BRILLIANT auto box, and when finished a decent engine too.. Ive put full leather in, with electric armrest, and wood over the radio and around the rear window switches... but not got any for the gear lever surround...

She'll be on steels with wheel trims, but currently has Alloys fitted, as in Early 24v Manual XM and Later SEi XM alloys..

Indeed, it was a pleasure to meet you too Paul, along with so many others.

Did the nice couple from Wales get in touch about the XM rear subframe? They missed you on the Saturday and of course you were absent on Sunday when they were there all day.

Which mine mentioned above? Shes ok, as I said the body lets her down with the scratches, possibly a couple of T cuts may bring them out, but the biggest bug is the indent on the nearside rear quarter panel...

Yes Black in black is very nice, Mathew Thomas's Black Prestege was awesome, very tidy!! I did drool, it was beautifull..
