Berlingo Van Which Wheels?
Decided to look for some alloys for my berlingo van, it's a 2003 facelift model and at the moment it has the standard steels with 175s on it, anybody know which wheels are a straight swap? only looking for simple stuff like off a 206 or the like, just don't know what size i can go to or if i need special bolts, anyone done it?
cheers in advance

I think most things will fit from the smaller Citroen range, im sure ive seen them with the 14" Saxo VTR alloys on, they must be cheap on ebay now.
I cant remember if the 206 has the same wheel fitment as the saxo, if so there are some nice wheels.
I have the 15" 'Sirocco' style wheels on my 206 which i do like, 195 tyres should fit in the rear arches of a Berlingo?
Also i think range topping Berlings came with the Xsara Picasso wheels from new, so they are probably an option too. Which means most Xsara alloys should be ok too, although im not 100% sure.
Check around on ebay, but find out your required offset and stud pattern before hand.
You will need new wheel bolts, as most alloys require special bolts. They are around £1-£2 each from the dealers usually.

Not bad for a little over £10 with 4 hours to go!

Should fit i would think, being Xsara wheels, but not 100% sure on that. You would need the bolts though.
Saxo VTR wheels:

One thing you might want to think about is tyres, if your van carries a lot of weight you might need to upgrade to higher spec reinforded connercial tyres. As you ideally need the right spec for your van.

Good point. My van failed its last DOE (equivalent of the MOT) for having tyres with the wrong load rating on, ie. car tyres.Citroenmad wrote:One thing you might want to think about is tyres, if your van carries a lot of weight you might need to upgrade to higher spec reinforded connercial tyres. Hi they all fit if 4 stud zx/zanty/xsara/peugoet/even fords but they wont fit on has bore is smaller than psa fittings thats the hole in middle. but they are all 4x108 which is the measurement between studs/bolts. you could go upto 15"+ just need to work out ratio/sizing.has if you go to big you could end up having to go to wide.and vans normally suffer in the rear arches for width ie inside floor side.but you should be able to find plenty cheap. steel wheels use diff bolts to alloys esp if older psa ones has they had flat seats in bolt holes and later used tapered bolts.
plus if you don't have an alloy spare remember to carry 4 bolts to fit spare wheel!
uniroyal do a 580 xl tyre which has a higher load rating
