Quicky! Rear plastic inner wheel splash guard jobby

Post by HDI Dave »

Hi all,
Got some bad corrosion on the rear nearside panel which i'm repairing - pics to come, i'm quite chuffed with my results! Gotta luv fiberglass : >
Looks like there's a plastic inner wheel arch liner missing (there's lug holes where it looks like it would locate). I only seem to have a small (6" deep ish) black plastic part joining the bottom of the bumper, whereas the other, drivers (UK) side, has a large plastic inner wheelwell splashguard thing.
Waters been spraying up - rotting it, surely it should be the same as t'other side?!!
Sorry no picture as yet. Should there be a large plastic guard on the rear left wheel arch?
Thanks, oh, and a pic of one is truly welcome!
Cheers, Dave.

Morning Dave, I seem to recall from my short foray into a Xsara (02) that there should be the plastic cover on both sides of the car. Sorry no pics

Steve
