Running without calipers

Unread post by Xaccers »

As I'm dismantling the LX I want to remove the calipers.
Now am I right in thinking that the doser valve should prevent copious amounts of green blood spraying from the unblocked ends?

Otherwise I'll need 4 lengths of pipe to return any spillage to the resevoir.

Yes, pretty much. You'll get dribbles but nothing huge and massive. Just be careful if you run the car without calipers and put the brakes on...

Also, there'll be zero pressure in the brake circuits by now anyway unless the car has run very recently.
