Didn't want either post to get lost in the other, hence a new thread.
Have looked at another 406 tonight 03 plate 110 2.0HDi GLX for around £1700, 135,000 miles with all the toys it seems.
The only problem being it was an insurance write from needing two new nearside doors. I haven't had a chance to drive it yet so it may not be worth pursuing however I would like to know people views on buying a repaired insurance write off.
EDIT:
Thanks for the votes. I have now found a better buy I think.
Not sure how to close a poll? Mods?
