Not much help, sorry. I thought of Bull Bars, ideal for your purposes but I believe that they are illegal now. Which is the problem. Almost anything that reinforces the nose of the car is going to increase the damage done to any pedestrians you may hit, which would not be approved of by the police, the HSA or your insurers.

Again, if it is not a Citroen supplied solution your insurance could possibly be affected by anything you fit.

Never mind the insurance aspect - bullbars and a-bars cause horrific injuries to pedestrians and greatly increase the possibility of a fatality, hence the reason they're been banned.

I can maybe see the need if you're driving across the Australian outback on a regular basis, but otherwise?

Here's a softer alternative which may or may not be useful:

That would be a lot better if there is a model to fit other than 4x4 vehicles.

A few years back I came across a device that fitted to the front of the car and made some sort of high pitched noise that we can't hear but was supposed to scare more lowly creatures off the road well before you reached them. Don't know if it worked, but I never hit any wildlife.
It infuriates me to be wrong when I know I'm right
