Xantia spheres on a BX?

Post by Zanderman90 »

Hello,
I would like to know if you can fit Xantia spheres to a BX? If so, what would be the effects?:?

The information on the sphere is
REF: 450CM3 / 45 BARS
Part No. 5271.76

Any help would be appreciated,
Alexander

My guess is, the ride would be a little bit firmer - but it should cause NO problems what so ever, UNLESS they are Hydractive spheres... What size is the hole in the CENTRE of the sphere - end that screws in???

bx spheres are 500cc, xantia are 400cc

which i suppose relates to how quickly it will react so it will be a bumpier ride. but non-hydractive as above if you use them there is enough damping. should give a more responsive ride, maybe even bordering on sport. i could be completely wrong though.

there is a chart from gsf on one of those links you could look through to select the right spheres for your needs
Love my black v6 xant - only one with cream coloured leather too!
