I get the feeling on here that we Activa owners can have a different set of problems in addition to the normal suspension ones encountered in Xantias, so I thought it would be good if we knew the Activa owners on the forum.
So drop a reply in if you own an Activa and we might be able to confer more constructively.
For the record :
1996 Activa, 2 litre petrol turbo. 86,000 miles.

It's good to see there are a few of us out there and not all having problems all the time.
As for behaving strangly; I have been having a few problems with the back suspension not behaving as it should etc and after a lot of tooing and froing I have just discovered a broken bar acroos the car to which our activa rear height corrector is connected (As opposed to the normal arrangemant) such that it has no fixed datum to work from as the whole thing is moving about.

Hi Xantialovers,
A Citroëndealer of Belgium told me that somewhere in England somebody made a replacepart for the famous weak rubber silentbloc of the rear Activa-piston. The silentbloc is made of Teflon and eliminates the rattle in the back of the car, which is caused by the genuine-silentbloc that always brake down after only 10000km.
Anyone an idea where i can find this reliable Teflon silentbloc ?
Maybe somebody found a solution for the leaking Activa-pistons to ?
A recent problem that i have in my Xantia, is that when the fan of the heating-system is put on "auto" the fan blows and stops and blows and so on.
What could be wrong ?

Hi,
I have a rattle coming from the back of my Activa now; I was told by an Independent Citroen fixer that this is usually caused by the rear Activa cylinder.
Does anydoby else have this too?
Is it a problem with the mounting bushes; ie these silentbloc types already mentioned, or can it also be caused by the internal components?
I am going to have to take a good look under there soon, but being armed with a some knowledge first would be helpful.
Thanks,
Simon.
