XUD breather hose

Post by crossy2425 »

Does anyone have a spare or know the part number/price?

Its the 'S' shaped one that starts at the lower rear of the oil filler and goes upto the cam cover.

Hi same as pug one.bit of a faff to do get new jubilee clip for bottom end atleast plus if you have or buy/aquire one of those long flexible screwdriver like things with a socket end.or if not a good 1/4 drive socket set with wobbly drive.and a long handled screwdriver wide as poss.i used a franklin headgasket scraper to prize pipe off filler housing twist it so it pushes off pipe.not a great deal of room down there.

If you can't get those funny clips they use off?i got a pair of long nose oliers that are twin hinged from Halfrauds pro range.and a very worth while investment.not cheap but very good for doing all those jobs on them.ie heater plug nuts and those sprung clips on water pipes etc

Plus while you're at it i would check the other pipes etc as they could be getting very brittle
