Hi ,
Driving to work this morning I noticed , a squeak , as I touch the brake pedal , as I press harder , the squeak disappears .
Any ideas ?

Its just normally small vibrations in the pad, as you press harder they are unable to move so much. Clean up then re-apply coppa-slip or similar to backs of front pads, where they contact the pistons and calliper. That normally stops it, also where they bottom of the pad sits in the calliper is always worth a smear. You can then check all you pad thicknesses while you are about it.

The front pads are pretty new , with 10% wear .
So I will try the Coppa product .

if its the rear squeeking then its more than likely down to brake dust in the drums, that is if you have drums on the rear of your car,
remove the drums blast out with compresed air bung it back together,
or as you say its just had new front pads there might be a lip on the inside and out side edges of the discs, this can cause a squeek when it cuts into the pad material,
