Instrument panel bulb changing??

Have one only bulb in the instrument panel of the Xsara that has gone on permanent holiday :cry: Need to change it obviously, as it's SWMBO's car.:lol:
(dipped beam indicator.)
Is there any way other than the Haynes manual method of removing the whole instrument panel just to do this?
if not, i am going to go all out and replace the whole lot with good quality LED panel globes so as to hopefully not need to replace another in the life of the car.
