Berlingo van starter motor

Post by -Andy- »

Hi All, great forum, hope you can help me out

I own a Citroen berling van x reg and it needs a new starter motor, I was all set to take it to a garage (moaning how skint I am) when a mate had the idea to do it ourself, he knows what he's doing apparently (although he's not a mechanic by trade lol)

:D :D

He recons it's only 3 bolts but I wanted to go into this one armed with a bit of knowledge

Any tips or guidance would be much appreciated

Cheers all

Andy

Couldn't say specifically for the Berlingo but it is generally one of the simplest
jobs on an engine.

As your mate says, three bolts (often only two) and two electrical connections is about the measure of it.

About half an hour if he has done it before.
