XANTIA REMOTE LOCKING PLIP'S ?????

Hi I have 2 x Citroen Xantia's 1.9TD one is a sx and the other a vsx I have a problem with one that the remote key plips don't work I have checked the fuse the receiver and keys and all seem to work well. I thought it might be a case of reprograming the key but I have tried The thing of turning the ignition on and pressing the key 20 time to re-progam it but no luck[:(]. the only thing that I know works is to change the central locking control box from next to the handbrake (including the plip) has anyone any other ideas?[?]

When mine stopped working, it turned out the wire for it under the passenger footwell carpet had corroded due to water leaking in via a blocked sunroof drain. Worth a look.
