I always use Liverpool Victoria.
Very nice people to deal with. Very helpful, quick to respond and when you phone them it is always a person who answers and within five rings. That same person almost always stays with you the whole time and arranges everything.
The NFU are said to be very good too but I have never tried them.

I can recommend Direct Line, been with them for about 11 years (since I started driving). Always the cheapest - often by hundreds & never had any problems. Also worth up-ing your excess if you are low risk to lower the Premium or the cars worth less than £1,000.

I used to be with the AA, but they quoted me £420 to renew, and over £800 to add my housemate as a learner.
So I tried compare the market and found elephant was the cheapest at £325 including a learner.

Not compare the meerkat then?So I tried compare the market
On a serious note I usually find direct line the cheapest for me, even after using various market comparing search engines.

What can I say adverts stick in my head...
What is this car valuing thing? the only question regards value I've ever been asked "is your car worth over £40k" to which the answer is only in my head.

I'm with Admiral and have a multi-car policy with them. Never been happier. Their service is great (as long as you can speak Welsh ) and if you're insuring more than one car, they're unbeatable.
My little collection costs a total of £600 a year to insure all fully comp. Not bad with an Activa and a V6....

I am with footman james or lancaster as they recognise that a BX IS a classic and insure it as one so mucho cheapness! (About £120 a car)
