I have done a dignostic check & its coming up with clutch switch which sounds a very possible cause to me. I assume its a sort of safety mode as it doesnt know weather the clutch is pressed or not on startup?
I have the switch on order & will update.

Hi,this fault is normally the card reader, I've done a few of these but hope the clutch switch fixes it for you.
