Rear heater switch not working

Found today that Cassy's rear heater switch isn't staying on, or even lighting up when pressed and held.
Her heater blower fan is working fine, and has the relax fix fitted.
Where do I start poking and prodding?

This is annoying me.
Despite Jim working his magic, the rear window heater is not working.
The switch works, it's just not activating the relay.
Looking at the documents Jim posted above, am I right in thinking it's the tall red relay between the steering column and fuse box?

as long as its not an AUZZY diagram Xac,

if it is you might have to scan it into your computer and invert it TEA HE

Yes, we’re looking at things down-up; item 3 being at the bottom, first to the right from the accelerator.
The diagram is indeed from a late Mk I, the only one I have, and wasn’t sure of your’s vintage.

Why did citroen have to go and mess around with the layout of things?
Cassy's a '97 MK1, and as I said, her relay unit looks like the one from Jim's pic (although mirrored), and not like your version.
