Activa on non-hydractive corner spheres?
Seeing as Vince reports non-hydractive spheres on the front of his VSX have made the ride softer, I wonder how an activa would handle with non-hydractive spheres?

Been there done it, I liked it as it softened what I found to be a very firm (verging on uncomfortable) front end, get Jim's opinion as those sphere's were still on the car when he bought it from me. I know he later changed them to Standard Activa sphere's but as to whether that was because he didn't like it or wanted to keep the car as per original spec you'll have to ask him.Xac wrote:Seeing as Vince reports non-hydractive spheres on the front of his VSX have made the ride softer, I wonder how an activa would handle with non-hydractive spheres?
As for handling I can't say it made any difference really, if anything it became less skittish over poor surfaces. If you really want to accurately test a cars handling it needs to be set up correctly first and in my experience not many people can do that.
