thanks to the french car forum for the advice of one of the members richard my fault has now been corrected it is a common fault so check your rear wheels there should be about a 20 mil gap between the caliper and the wheel rim? i have saved £340 as Citroen wanted £200 per side and i got them cleaned and put back for £40

Is this were the caliper has reacted with the rear arm and alloy corrosion has pushed the caliper outward and at an angle??
This is common with the Xantias... I guess all Citroens with this setup must suffer with it..
