2000 X Xsara locks

Hi...

Got a small problem with a Xsara, if I lock the car with the key IN the drivers door the car will lock and unlock as normal...

If I lock the car with the PLIP, the drivers door WONT lock, so as useual, 3 doors and boot lock then unlock again...

If I lock the car with the jey in the door, then use the PLIP to open it, the car unlocks but the drivers door stays locked....

Anyone had this before?? Is it likly to be the door lock, or wiring to the lock..

This is also a common problem on Xantias, But on them unplugging the lock plug and reconnecting useually solves it.. but on Xantias the offending door doesn't operate the others, were on this Xsara, its the PLIP thats not opertaing the door lock...

Check for broken wires in the door pillar connectors, very common. If that checks out ok then suspec the latch.
