hi the one and all
my first post on this forum is to seek help on the old chesnut non operation of internal fan on a mark 11 series tdi . to wit fan re built and running, no 12 volt supply on feed wires also air con light not lit when lit fan works ? where is climate ecu fitted in car also location of fan relay item 8015 yes all fuses a ok .
ps had the same bx 1.9 engine for 12 years it had 3 bodies and was still running when it left my yard .

It will NOT be the ECU at all, these rarely go wrong...
The Blower relay is under the drivers side dash, above the trim ABOVE the accelerator pedal..
Pull the trim away from above the pedal and the relay is above there... which one? The green one! Which green one? The green one which has TWO SIDE CLIPS holding it in! If I remember rightly, its the one NEARER the throttle pedal, remove it and push it back in or replace it. I did this on a S2 Exclusive and everything came back to life!!
