egr removal on hdi

Hello,

Could someone please just tell me the procedure in removing the egr valve on a 2.0 hdi

I have a year 2000 synergie 2.0hdi and am finding that the egr valve is hard to get at because there is a lot less room between bulkhead and engine than in the xantia, c5, etc. However, I thought that if I knew the procedure it could make life a little easier.

Removing the o/s engine mounting & lowering the engine on a jack gives a bit more room to do the job, have you tried this ?
