My brother (bless him) just phoned to say his heads playing tricks on him.
He has owned his Xantia for 4 years and he has forgotten the 4 digit code.
He tried 3 different codes but no luck.
I know this could look suspicious and I'm stealing a car but I can assure you this is genuine. I am a long standing member.
Is there any way he could overide the keypad?
I would really appreciate some help on this and it's probably best to PM an answer.
Thanks

Hi Bernie, good to see you
Long ago, there was this thread that went into it quite thoroughly. It's down in the members-only area.
Richard asked a good question. If it's a diesel and push comes to shove, the pump can be de-armoured and the immobiliser block removed. Not easy but it is a sort of get out of jail free card.
A petrol engine is a different kettle of fish though as it'll mean either obtaining another ECU with a known code or one that has already been bypassed. Else it's a job for the pros to bypass it.
