306 D Turbo vs XTDT

Is there a difference in the expected accel./mpg between a D Turbo 1.9 and an ordinary XR or XT 306?
I am told (by a possible Bull****er)the D Turbo has a larger turbo and has the boost pressure set higher.
Should I give him a good slapping or eat humble pie....rather chilled??

Slap him! They are exactly the same engine just a duffrent interior, wheels and bumpers.
