Does anybody know?

Post by soccerboss »

Ive just been told at the garage that the citroen synergie has the same engine as one of the peugeot's and you need to use a special oil cause if you dont it was make the car "play up".

If this is true does anyone know what oil it is?

Much appreciated.

i dont see why it needs any special oil other than maybe a universal semi synthetic,

what engine have you got (diesel or petrol) as i thought they only run the usual XU/D lumps

I guess it depends on its age, and wether it is a 20,000 mile service interval. This basically means if it is a 20k service you should use a synthetic oil such as Castrol Edge 0-30w. If its not a good 10/40 or 10/50 would be fine.
