Just replaced 1998 1.8i 16V with a 2000 Hdi90. Identical dashboards (although one LHD, one RHD).
The new car has a glitch with the digital clock. It occasionally shows the wrong time. Dunno whether something in particular prompts it to change (the hours only, not the minutes) or whether it's random.
Is this the start of some weird electrical gremlins?
Strange electrical glitch.....Xantia

I've seen this issue on the 205GTi I used to own. It became a random time indicator
Never seen it on a Xantia though excpet when the battery has been very low. I'd be inclinded to think that for some reason the clock is momentarily loosing it's power supply. Does the change in time co-incide with a heavy load being placed on the electrical system, say the blower or engine fans starting up?
I've seen a similar happening with a poor, tired battery that really dips its voltage right down on starting.

It happens on both mine... I found that I was accidentally tapping the hour button when searching for the radio buttons..
