Xsara A/C

Unread post by xsara »

The airconditioning on my Xsara 1.9TD is not working.
There is no load on the engine when the a/c is switched
on so could be the relay or fuse.
Anyone know where these are located so I can check.

Im not sure on the part locations, but be aware if the gas pressure or oil level drops too low then as a fail safe it compressor will not kick in, so it may not be solely an electrical problem.

Hi guys,
I will second what blueboy says, and if you are in the North Yorkshire area, i know an excellent air-con specialist. Did a full service on my system for under £80.

Who is it, pray tell. My Xantia needs filling up about every 18 months and I pay £50 for the privilege(!).

Thanks guy's - I would still like to do a quick check of the fuse
and relay if I can find them !.
It worked fine when I bought it a year ago but just tried it now
and nothing.
I'm in Cardiff area if you know of any cheap/reliable fix it places.
